Juno Spray ~ The Divine Consort - Goddess of Sacred Union

Juno, or Hera in Greek Mythology, is the Queen of the Gods, mother of Mars, wife (and sister) of Jupiter (Zeus.)  She served as a champion and protector of women, and was particularly associated with married women. Over time, the Romans even began to use juno as a term for the tutelary deity that accompanied every woman from birth to death. (The male equivalent was called the genius.)

The entire month of June was sacred to Juno, which is still named for Her. Since She is the Roman Goddess of Marriage, it is no coincidence that June is still considered the most auspicious month for weddings.

Like Jupiter, Juno was believed to have the ability to throw thunderbolts! Juno’s favorite animal was the peacock, and in ancient art, peacocks were frequently depicted alongside the Goddess.

We created this spray for those struggling with relationships and/or their marriage. Sacred Union is all about creating an interdependent relationship based upon mutual respect and teamwork. Juno was actually equally as powerful as Jupiter, so this spray was also created to assist a woman to own her own powerful nature outside of a marriage or relationship if she feels called to be by herself.
